چکیده
This study explores the potentials of Brachystegia eurycoma coagulant (BEC) and Vigna subterranean (VSC) as natural organic polymers (NOPs) for decolourisation Crystal Ponceau 6R (AR 44) in wastewater. Materials characterisation studies were done on precursors. A detailed kinetics was employed. The procedures evaluated through time-dependent reduction concentration particles, with variation independent parameters. proximate analysis showed protein contents 19.77% 18.15% BEC VSC, respectively. functional test presence –OH, N–H, C=H. surface morphological revealed some rough surfaces, different pores sizes, compact-net structures. order removal efficiency VSC > an optimum 88.8% 73.3%, values coagulation rate constant (K) (α) obtained 6.38 × 10− 4 L mg− 1 min− 1, 1.8 4.03 3 1.9, time, T ag 31.35 26.96 min respectively, disclosed quick coagulation. coagulation-flocculation demonstrated that process conforms to pseudo-second-order model R 2 >0.997, suggesting rate-controlling mechanism is governed by chemisorption. In mass transfer study, experimental data well predicted cross-validation test, a percentage mean relative deviation modulus (M%) 3.26 2.54 These coagulants added meaningful progress wastewater treatment while displaying significant adsorption features. Likewise, usage particle behaviour modelling should be prerequisite water processes.

enhanced coagulation (ec) is defined as the addition of excess coagulation to improve the removal of disinfection by-product (dbps) precursors through the use of conventional water treatment processes. in this research, most of coagulants of ferric chloride (fecl3), poly aluminum chloride(pacl) in removal of most parameters of total organic carbon (toc), dissolved organic carbon (doc), organic ...
متن کاملUse of natural coagulants for industrial wastewater treatment
Industrial effluents are a menace to the environment and the fact that their characteristics vary from industry-to-industry only adds to the complex challenge they offer to the engineers and scientists. Resource-efficient and environment-friendly solutions to this hazard are a call of the hour. Coagulation, by synthetic chemicals, has been used as a cost-effective and efficient method for manag...

This paper describes a preliminary study of the adsorption of toxic elements from synthetic wastewater in a batch mode. Clay minerals have been highly considered as inexpensive available adsorbents that adapt with the environment due to a special level and a high potential of adsorption. In the present research work, low-cost natural minerals of speiolite from the Iliato mine (located in NE Ir...

The extraction of gold involves using cyanide which has the potential to impact the environment. Many studies have been done to reduce the environmental effects of cyanide. In this research, the cyanide adsorption on zeolite from gold processing plant tailing dam wastewater was investigated. Results indicated that the pH of the solution, contact time duration, temperature, zeolite amo...
